It feels forever since we last saw Tony Stark say goodbye to the MCU with his epic snap at the end of Avengers: Endgame. Although Iron Man sacrificed himself to beat Thanos and save the universe, we still miss our favorite superhero. But what if I told you there was a way to bring back Tony Stark on the big screen without undermining his extraordinary sacrifice? Yeah, I’d think we’re crazy too, but we promise there’s a good way to do it!
It all has to do with the 2015 Secret Wars storyline, which saw multiple universes come together for one big fight. If the MCU were to adapt something like this, it would give an opportunity for Tony Stark and Robert Downey Jr. to return in epic fashion to the superhero franchise. What would this new version of Tony Stark look like? Would he be the same hero we all know and love? Would he never have suited up as Iron Man in the first place? Or would he be way more villainous than we ever expected?
