There are quite a few question marks floating around in the MCU, and today we’re going to take a look at a relatively minor but nonetheless troublesome mystery. At the end of the movie “Age of Ultron,” we saw the Incredible Hulk take off in the Quinjet to parts unknown, despite being called back by Natasha Romanoff. Then a few films later, we caught sight of him again on the planet Sakaar in “Thor: Ragnarok.” We all loved seeing Bruce Banner team up with the God of Thunder, but today we’re going to be talking about just how he ended up fighting in the Grandmaster’s arena. That’s right, his journey has never really been explained, and according to studio head Kevin Feige, some well-meaning fans are on the wrong track about our hero’s journey into outer space. We’ll answer the “why” and then move onto the “how” as we talk about whether it was really just a simple wormhole that sent him hurtling through space.
What do you think about the journey this giant, green superhero undertook? Do you think we deserve a genuine, canon explanation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or is the wormhole plothole good enough for you?
