Call of Duty Warzone is the best battle royale game on the market right now. Yup, it’s got Fortnite, Apex Legends and PUBG beat! Why do we think that? Well, Warzone has the most players we’ve ever seen in a battle royale game and the game is smooth as butter with incredible gunplay that we’ve come to expect from Call of Duty...but that’s not all there is to it. To really get into the nitty gritty, we’re going to have to compare and contrast Warzone to its competition.

Warzone takes everything that made Fortnite, Apex Legends and PUBG smashing successes and improved on them significantly. There’s no building mechanic in Warzone. You have to rely solely on your environment, gun skill and communication. Communication is the absolutely key to Warzone. The Gulag is also one of the funnest parts of Warzone and it’s completely unique to the battle royale genre. It’s a one on one fight where the winner gets to return to the battlefield free of charge. The inventory of Warzone is also a step ahead of its competitors. It’s just a small pop up on the bottom of the screen that gives you all the info you need. No need for it to take up the entire screen!
