We’ve seen Taskmaster use plenty of different weapons in the trailers for Black Widow, from Black Panther-like vibranium claws to a Hawkeye-like bow and arrow, but he might use an even larger variety of weapons in the movie that pay homage to the history of the MCU.

As you all may have noticed, Taskmaster is a bit of a wannabe Avenger. He’s a copycat Avenger who loves to copy the abilities of Earth’s Greatest Heroes. We know one of Taskmaster’s iconic weapons, his shield, will be featured in Black Widow in some capacity. Now, we don’t expect it to be as powerful and as indestructible as Captain America’s shield, but there are plenty of similarities between the two. It’s possible that Taskmaster will use his shield exactly like Captain America does. It’s also possible that Taskmaster’s suit will have some Tony Stark elements to it and may have a JARVIS-like AI built-in to help Taskmaster adapt to situations on the fly and sense danger. Now, his suit might not give Taskmaster the ability to fly like Iron Man, but maybe he’ll get his hands on the EXO-7 winged harness Falcon uses to give him flight. We really don’t know what’s going on in Taskmaster’s suit.
