The Batman starring Robert Pattinson and directed by Matt Reeves is probably one of the most anticipated superhero movies on the horizon right now. Almost everything we hear about the mysterious movie has gotten us excited and it’s only a matter of time before we learn more! So with all this great stuff happening for the Caped Crusader, there’s one question we have to ask. Does The Batman and Battinson have what it takes to be the best Batman movie ever? It certainly could!
Starting with the amazing cast, this movie is just oozing with talent. Besides Pattinson, you have mo-cap king Andy Serkis as Alfred, Westworld’s Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, you have Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Paul Dano as The Riddler and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, among other big names of course. This should be enough to get anyone excited, but the real key is how the movie uses this stacked cast to craft the best Batman story ever. Should it focus on the World’s Greatest Detective aspect of the Dark Knight that has been missing in recent films? Should it adapt a comic arc like The Long Halloween to really give audiences a chance to explore this new Gotham City? And how will this relate to the larger DCEU and the potential multiverse? All of those will be discussed in this video.
