We will get to watch Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021. At this point, we know very little about the fourth Thor movie. We do know that both Thor and Valkyrie will return. Natalie Portman will also reprise her role as Jane Foster who, this time, will get her own hammer and become the Mighty Thor.

The God of Thunder clearly faced a lot of turmoil in the past few MCU movies. Not only has he dealt with a lot of guilt, but he’ll need to find who he really is after turning down the Asgardian throne. But considering all that happened in recent years, the nine realms must be in some serious chaos. Even Thor might not be able to bring peace and order to the realms by himself, so he’ll need some help and it might be the reason for him to assemble the Asgardians of the Galaxy. The Asgardians of the Galaxy are a real team in the comics and they were assembled by Thor’s long-lost secret sister, Angela.

The Asgardians of the Galaxy could be how Thor will be able to achieve order in the realms and also find his place in the universe.
Beyond that, a new team in the MCU could mean more movies and stories and, considering the untapped potential Thor’s stories have, the Asgardians of the Galaxy could be how Thor’s story in the MCU could keep going. Love and Thunder could only be the start of the Asgardians of the Galaxy.
