If you aren’t up to date on the latest addition to the DCEU, you might want to press pause until you’ve had a chance to catch up! Now that Birds of Prey is in theaters, you might be wondering about the antagonist played by the very talented Ewan McGregory. We’ll talk about the backstory of Roman Sionis and how it’s changed from the comic books to the big screen. Although he’s an accomplished crime lord, he hasn’t had as much success with some of his other business ventures. We’ll talk about why he’s called the Black Mask and some of the most horrible things he’s ever done. If you thought he gave Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn a hard time, you might think twice after learning what he did to Catwoman’s family! It took Black Canary quite some time to learn what kind of person he truly is, but if she knew the truth about his parents she might have figured it out sooner. While this was the first official live action version of the character, there was one episode of “Gotham” that might have seemed pretty familiar...
