Black Panther has long since been a popular character in Marvel comics, so when he finally arrived in the MCU it was cause for celebration. Now, T’Challa and the citizens of Wakanda can enjoy a much wider audience. We’ve seen a lot go down since he entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Black Panther lost his father, fought some personal battles against Killmonger, and turned to dust in Thanos’ Snap before coming back again. He’s done a lot. Every step of the way, he’s always been supported by his trusted Tribal Council, made up of the tribal leaders of the great nation.
It’s not always been a smooth ride, but his council has often helped him to get things done. Whether it was aiding the Avengers in the fight against the Black Order or getting one over on Killmonger. They’ve always been there to make sure Wakanda is protected and their rightful king is obeyed. However, just like any good rulers, they’ve got some rules to follow than can be a little odd when you think about it. Why do they have to stand by T’Challa?
