Tournaments are a big part of Dragon Ball, from the World Martial Arts Tournament to the Universal Survival Saga, which centers around the Tournament of Power, a battle royale designed to determine which universe gets to survive Zeno’s erasure. Suffice to say, Tournament always seems to play a big role in the plot on top of being a way for the warriors of the series to test their power. In being a major part of the franchise, Goku has competed in quite a few tournaments, but despite being incredibly strong, he’s lost almost every tournament he has entered.

From the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament to the Tournament of Destroyers, Goku has failed to be declared the champion of a fighting competition save for the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament, in which he defeated Piccolo Jr. and won his first competition. Save for this moment, Goku pretty much lost every tournament he competed in, be it because he actually lost the fight, because some villain interrupted the competition or because he was disqualified some other war. Regardless of the reason, Goku has lost a lot of tournaments, and in this video, we chronicle them all.
