Everyone loves the sense of pride and accomplishment that comes with spotting one of the many subtle Easter eggs in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While some have dropped major hints of things to come, many went nowhere and were eventually forgot about. Like that Infinity Gauntlet we spotted hanging around Odin’s vault in the very first Thor movie. Or the multiple hints we’ve gotten about Namor the Sub-Mariner finally joining the MCU. We’re also still waiting on Beta Ray Bill and The Incredible Hulk definitely left more than a few loose ends which have never gotten tied up. When we finally caught at least a glimpse of Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 it made us wonder what the point was of the cocoon in the Collector's gallery from the previous movie. And why was Doctor Strange getting name dropped all the way back in Captain America: The Winter Soldier? Sure, he eventually joined the MCU but this mention made no sense with his timeline. And the Miles Morales reference in the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming is even more disappointing now that even Peter Parker is saying goodbye to the MCU.
