Hiring people to appear in a major motion picture is tough, and even more so when you’re looking for adult versions of child stars. But that’s just what had to be done for It Chapter Two. Even the kids needed some work done in the form of some pretty intense de aging done in post-production. Sophia Lillis barely needed any, but Finn Wolfhard made up for that. He was also the one who loved the idea of Bill Hader playing an adult Richie, a casting call we think most people were pleased with. We’ll talk about the actors chosen to appear in the movie, and what Chosen Jacobs and Isaiah Mustafa have in common. James McAvoy was a no-brainer for the part of Bill but this star didn’t leave the studio unscathed. It took some time to find Jay Ryan, and the studio had him submit something surprising in order to be considered. We’ll also talk about which actor auditioned for the first movie only to end up getting cast in the second. And of course, we can’t forget Bill Skarsgard who terrified the cast and crew in addition to the audience.
