Looking Back At When Stewie Was Traumatized In Family Guy

Once upon a time, there was just one bad boy on the block, a shocking animated show about a family that challenged social norms of the time. After a while, it became part of the popular culture it was reflecting and the normal landscape. So along came another animated show about a family to challenge social norms again. Seth Macfarlane’s Family Guy was to The Simpsons what The Simpsons was to the rest of the world when it came out. After being cancelled and then saved once reruns became popular on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block of programing, Family Guy and the Griffin family have had an enduring run dwarfed only by The Simpsons itself.
One of the core elements of Family Guy is the strangely articulate and intelligent baby Stewie with his football shaped head. Fueled by a hatred for his mother Lois, a lack of respect for his oafish father Peter and a begrudging friendship with the family dog Brian, Stewie works on his ambition to kill Lois and take over the world, but he’s occasionally thrown off his goal with other ambitions like singing and dancing or seeing his favorite kids show Jolly Farm Review. From meeting Santa to asking Brian pointedly “Where’s my money” to being forced to watch the viral video “Two Girls One Cup”, Stewie has ended up traumatized now and then to comedic effect. In fact, one of the show’s funniest elements is when Stewie is thrown for a loop. Let’s look at some of the better times Stewie ended up traumatized.
