One Punch Man season two did the unthinkable. It ended right in the middle of an arc! There was practically no resolution and it left us antsy to see what comes next. With season two of the anime clearly setting up a season three, we can’t help but wonder where Saitama and his fellow heroes will go next.

On top of fleshing out the villainous King Orochi and his mysterious motives, we expect season three to mostly deal with the ongoing war between the Hero Association and the Monster Association, but there are a ton of other questions that we want answered both on screen and behind the camera. Like, sure, we’re dying to know more about Blast or the fate of Speed-o’-sound Sonic after he ate the monster spore or what happens to Garou next, but we’re also extremely curious if JC Staff will continue to animate the show or if there’s anyway it can return to Madhouse like season one.

One Punch Man season one wowed us with its humor, heart and fantastic animation style, plus it introduced us to the godly Mumen Rider, but season two seemed like a step down from its tremendous first outing. With these expectations, we’re hoping One Punch Man can get back on track and deliver the show we know it can be. So let’s get into our expectations right now.
