With the way Avengers: Endgame ended, CBR is taking a moment to reflect back on some of our favorite characters in the Marvel Comics canon, covering everybody from Iron Man to Thor to Captain America and countless other gems from the Marvel Comics lineup. In this video, CBR will take a look at the history and impact of the Iron Man franchise, from his not-so-humble beginnings in Tales of Suspense to his latest showdown in Avengers: Endgame. In our new series Then and Now, CBR will showcase some our favorite comic book characters and villains, starting off with the well-known and well-loved fan favorite Iron Man. In this segment, we will examine everything noteworthy about the Invincible Iron Man, from his suits, his storyline in the MCU film canon, to his relationships with characters like Pepper Potts, War Machine and even the Amazing Spider-Man. Iron Man, and his many incarnations in the Marvel Comics Universe, is a beloved character that many of us have cheered for and cried for (and yes, we definitely reached for the tissue box more than once). He’s undoubtedly a staple of the MCU and we want to give good old Tony Stark the attention he deserves with this week’s edition of our newest series: THEN AND NOW.
