What Happened Between Red Skull And Captain America in Marvel Avengers Endgame

It might sound kind of strange to say we “love” Red Skull considering the fact that he’s a diabolical and evil person, but, as a character, he’s fantastic and even the Russo Brothers and the writers of Avengers: Endgame agree. We wondered what happened to him following Captain America: The First Avenger and later learned in Avengers: Infinity War that he was stranded on Vormir guarding the Soul Stone. We saw him interact with many characters, including the Mad Titan Thanos, Gamora, Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton, but what about his old nemesis Steve Rogers? We saw Captain America utilize the Quantum Realm and time travel to return the Infinity Stones to their rightful places on the timeline and, surely, this would’ve led to him coming face to face with the insidious Johann Schmidt.

Or would it? You might be surprised to learn the moment these characters reunited was likely much different than you pictured. We’ll reveal how this character is now a shell of his former self and how Cap was also being controlled by the Soul Stone to an extent.
