Sure, everyone likes to talk about what an incredible fighter John Wick is and obsess over that thing he did with the pencil, but, sometimes, it’s the quiet moments of the movies that have the biggest impact. We’re going to talk about some of the most iconic moments that aren’t over the top acts of vengeance. Keanu Reeves ended up filming some scenes revealing his character’s rather peaceful side, but they never made it into any of the films. We’ll reveal what this assassin loves to do in his spare time.

Although we see many of his peers get competitive, and understandably so considering the stakes, we think the moment he lets Cassian live out of professional courtesy has a huge impact. We know he’s fighting for his dog Daisy in the first movie and, in Chapter 2, we see him display a surprising amount of compassion for Santino D’Antonio’s sister Gianna. It’s also hard not to marvel at how great of a guest he is when he visits the Continental Hotel, for the most part at least. Even his fellow assassins are in awe of the professionalism of this guy, not to mention his incredible fighting abilities.
