Dragon Ball Z is known for redeeming its villains and Majin Buu is no different. While the evil versions of him, like Super Buu and Kid Buu, were done away with, the Innocent version of Buu eventually became a hero, earning himself a number of good guy moments. Heck, even before this, the character showed that he wasn’t like other villains in the series, learning how to be good and caring for Mr. Satan. Because of this, we wanted to catalogue all the times where Buu showed himself to be a pretty chill guy.
Everything from defeating his evil master Babidi to protecting Mr. Satan and getting mad when he and his dog Bee were hurt, Buu has shown time and time again that he’s not the ancient evil force that the legends described him as. Of course, the reason behind this is that he absorbed the kind-hearted Grand Supreme Kai, but he also made some good guy decisions, painting himself as a pretty chill guy, far from the evil-hearted ways of Cell or Frieza.
Suffice to say, Buu has had a lot of moments the proved he wasn’t truly a bad guy, just misguided. Because of all of these chill moments, we wanted to catalogue them all to prove that Majin Buu had more good in him than bad, his innocent and childlike nature leading to some great good guy moments for the character. Check out the video to see all of Buu’s chillest moments, let us know what you think down in the comments and don’t forget to subscribe to CBR.
