At first glance, it definitely seems like Peter Parker and Tony Stark don’t have that much in common. Iron Man was the first hero to be a part of the MCU and Spider-Man is an up and coming webslinger. Although, as Happy Hogan pointed out in the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer, Peter has been to outer space at this point. You might be surprised to learn how much these two heroes have in common and, today, we’re going to point out some similarities between them.

Of course, there are plenty of mundane similarities like the fact that they’re both orphans who live or lived in New York City, but even those seemingly benign facts can have big implications for the MCU. Could Peter Parker be set up to be the next Iron Man after what went down after the decimation and the events of Avengers: Endgame? Tony left behind his wife, Pepper Potts and his daughter, Morgan Stark, but could Peter be the one who makes sure his legacy lives on?
