Actress Danai Gurira has a history of playing an incredibly skilled warrior, so we were excited to see her taking on the role of Okoye in Marvel’s Black Panther. On the big screen, she’s a leader of the elite warriors known as the Dora Milaje, but in the comics, the Dora Milaje had a very surprising job to do in addition to protecting the king. We’ll let you know what it is and also discuss which scenes starring Okoye didn’t make it into the final movie.
