There are so many awesome Dragon Ball characters, we wouldn’t expect to see every last one in the latest movie, but we’ve been following the promo art for Dragon Ball Super: Broly and noticed that Goten and Trunks surprisingly showed up. Goten and Trunks are the children of Goku and Vegeta respectively, and we couldn’t help but wonder what role they’ll play in this movie. After all, Goten is often overshadowed by his more powerful brother, Gohan, but he and Trunks do have one thing which makes them stand out.

We’ll share our theory on what these two are doing in Dragon Ball Super: Broly and how they may inspire their powerful parents to do the fusion dance necessary to create Gogeta.
