Over the years, a lot of actors have appeared in movies based on both Marvel Comics characters and DC Comics characters - but most of them are rather obvious.

Everyone knows that Michael Keaton played both Vulture and Batman, that Hugo Weaving played both Red Skull and V, that Josh Brolin played Thanos, Cable and Jonah Hex, and that Ryan Reynolds played both Deadpool and Green Lantern, for example - they're all extremely well known roles.

Some such roles were less well known, however, so we're going to take you through some of them here. This video is all about actors from Marvel movies who also appeared in DC offerings.

The actors in question are; Chris Evans (who's played Captain America, the Human Torch and Captain Jake Jensen), Zoe Saldana (who's played Gamora and Aisha al-Fadhil), Idris Elba (who's played Heimdall, Moreau and Captain William Roque), Angela Bassett (who's played Ramonda and Amanda Waller), Taika Waititi (who's played Korg and Thomas Kalmaku), Djimon Hounsou (who's played Korath the Pursuer and Papa Midnite), Florence Kasumba (who's played Ayo and Senator Acantha), Benjamin Bratt (who's played Jonathan Pangborn and Detective Tom Lone), James Marsden (who's played Cyclops and Richard White), and Eddie Marsan (who's played the Headmaster of a Mutant Reeducation Center and Brian Etheridge).
