When you think about characters who are likely to wear the Infinity Gauntlet, the first ones who spring to mind tend to be powerful megalomaniac Marvel villains.

The likes of the Mad Titan Thanos, Latverian genius Doctor Doom and the God of Mischief Loki are the typical power-hungry types who seek out the six Infinity Gems in order to use their combined power to inflict their will on the universe.

However, in the comic books, a number of characters have worn the gauntlet that you might be surprised about - whether it's because they're not power-hungry, because they're not villains, or because they're not even Marvel characters.

In this video, we'll take you through ten examples of characters that you won't believe have worn the Infinity Gauntlet.

The ten characters are; the powerful DC New God villain Darkseid, the vampiric Rune from the Ultraverse, various incarnations of Reed Richards (collectively known as "The Council of Reeds"), the Dark Surfer (a corrupted Silver Surfer) from the Super Hero Squad TV show, Lockjaw and his fellow Pet Avengers, your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, the Wakandan king known as the Black Panther, the Super Soldier and Avengers leader Captain America, the armoured superhero Iron Man, and none other than Santa Claus himself (yes, really!)!
