When it comes to a classic superhero like Marvel’s Spider-Man, there are many passionate fans. We couldn’t ever imagine anyone but Peter Parker as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. But we stand corrected with the addition of newcomer Miles Morales.
So move over Peter, it looks like we have a new Spidey in town.
Here are some reason why Miles Morales makes such a great Spider-Man.
His costume, how cool is this red and black total revamp? Very. We might even love this more than the original.
Miles also has a stealthy cloaking power and a venomous bite in addition to the famous Spidey-sense.
Miles also has a more compelling origin story that unfortunately results in the murder of his mother. On a lighter note, Miles almost defeated Galactus! What? Yup. He was also briefly an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Want more Miles? There’s an animated feature hitting theatres. Sure are stoked about Spider-Man: Homecoming, but we are even more excited about the animated Miles film. We love that the Miles Morales character design has a signature style because of the same creative team always creating his stories and his iconic look. Continuity errors no more!
The best thing about the Miles Morales version of Spider-Man is that he is just a kid. Miles is a fresh new Spidey who is still learning as he goes on. He’s a teen who has to deal with everyday stresses in addition to fighting crime! And you think you’re stressed out.
