How The MCU AND DCEU Will Be Connected

If there’s one thing for certain in both the DCEU and the MCU is that Atlantis is going to be a huge focal point going forward. The Aquaman movie was a huge hit and it introduced us to a bright, visually-magnificent version of Atlantis that we desperately want to see more of. On the other hand, it’s only a matter of time before the MCU introduces their own version of Atlantis into their universe and we get to meet the highly anticipated Namor: The Sub-mariner. This means that both major franchises will have an Atlantis, which will result in fans everywhere debating which version is better. You can hear it now: “Aquaman’s Atlantis has an octopus that plays the drums, his is better!” etc. But what if I told you that the DCEU’s Atlantis and the MCU’s Atlantis could potentially be the same exact thing?
I know, that’s crazier than Aquaman on Spring Break, but I actually think it’s a possibility. With both major franchises setting up their own multiverses to continue to tell superhero stories, I predict something massive could happen. I think the two Atlantis empires could end up combining into one, forcing Aquaman and Namor to come face-to-face and fight each other for the title of King of Atlantis. It’s an absolutely bonkers idea I know, but just think about how cool it would be to see these two Atlanteans face off with one another! Think about how after their fight, these two could come together and unite against a greater threat? How cool would that be to see?
