Avatar: Identity Of The Next Avatar Revealed

The Avatar Cycle, the unending cycle where a master of all four elements is chosen to be the bridge between the physical world and the spirit world. The Avatar is the keeper of the peace and the one meant to bring balance to the world. We saw Aang go through his journey of bringing the 100 years war to an end. We also saw his successor Korra take on modern problems that no Avatar has faced before. During Korra’s tenure as Avatar things also changed significantly. The spirit world was opened up to the physical world for the first time in centuries. However, during Korra’s time as the Avatar tragedy also struck. Her connection to the Avatar cycle was broken, and all her past lives were lost forever. Whoever the next Avatar will be will only have Korra to rely on for guidance. But who exactly will that next Avatar be? We have a few clues in the Avatar cycle and popular fan theories. We also have to think about when this new Avatar will emerge. Obviously it will be after Korra’s passing, but what will the world of Avatar look like? We are here to shed some light on this hypothetical future in one of our bite sized theory videos!
