WandaVision is here! And what a way to kick off Phase 4 of the MCU! The show promises to pivot the franchise in a bold new direction and focus on an Avenger who’s always needed a bigger spotlight. Wanda, aka Scarlet Witch, has always been a supporting character in the movies even though she’s clearly one of the most powerful heroes we’ve ever seen! Her skill set seems as ill-defined as her accent, but we know she even made Thanos afraid in a one-on-one fight! And now she will be the one to usher in the next chapter of the MCU, and will most likely be the one responsible for introducing Mutants!
That’s right, Mutants are most likely going to be in the MCU going forward and it all starts with the events of WandaVision. Just what exactly could Wanda that would bring the mutants into existence? Could she prove to be so powerful that she literally creates an entire new universe that has mutants in it? Or could she pull a reverse House of M-type of move and actually speak mutants into existence here in the MCU? Whatever the reasoning behind it, it’s become increasingly clear that WandaVision just might be the most important MCU story we’ve ever seen and it’s certainly one you can’t miss!
