Godzilla VS Kong: Kong's New Axe Revealed

It is finally coming! The legendary battle that the Monsterverse has been setting up since 2014 is about to pay off Avengers-style with March’s Godzilla Vs. Kong. This cinematic universe has been weaving a tale filled with ancient Titans from millenia ago, Vietnam-era monster fights and some of the greatest Godzilla action to ever hit the big screen. While the latest Godzilla films have showcased how incredible the King of the Monsters is, we haven’t seen nearly as much from Kong. In fact, the last time we saw him, he was relatively puny compared to the massive size of Godzilla and the other titans like King Ghidorah. Luckily, the first trailer makes it clear that the ape has had quite the growth spurt since we last saw him on Skull Island. This means that his size is no longer a disadvantage against Godzilla. That just leaves a thicker hide, razor sharp fangs, sharper teeth, an extremely powerful tale and atomic breath that could probably melt Vibranium. So how could Kong POSSIBLY hope to stand up to Godzilla long enough for a two hour grudge match.

The trailer also shows that Kong is bringing something different to the table this time. Like Thor from Avengers: Infinity War, after he takes an initial beating, it looks like he will craft an axe capable of slaying even Godzilla.

So let’s dive into how Kong could claim victory over his giant reptilian enemy when they finally face off in Godzilla Vs. Kong!
