10 Ways WandaVision Will Impact MCU Phase 4

WandaVision is the biggest thing to happen in the MCU in a long time and that’s not just because there’s been no other MCU projects for over a year. Not only is it doing an excellent job of giving us a wonderful series revolving around Wanda Maximoff and the Vision, it is also plowing a new and exciting future for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The MCU has made a name for itself, and billions of dollars, by setting up easter eggs and characters in one movie only for them to pay-off in several years to come. The first Disney+ series in the MCU is following the movie’s pattern perfectly by laying the groundwork for decades of Marvel magic to come.

For starters, the developments with Wanda and her possibly villainous nature could steer her into a new, terrifying role in the next phase of the franchise. Then there are all of the films and television series WandaVision sets up. From the CRAZY surprise guest stars, to the returning minor characters who are begging for more spotlight, to the children with a bright future in Marvel comics, WandaVision is now the leader of Phase 4. It also may point to how other series like Falcon & The Winter Soldier and Armor Wars may lead Phase 4 in the years to come.
