Pretty much every fictional scifi universe has their version of a robotic monster that seeks to destroy the world. There are Daleks, Borg, Terminators and Reapers who all bring pride to the evil robot name. There are two synthetic beings who stand above all the rest as possibly the most powerful and most evil robotic villains of them all. That would be Dragon Ball Z’s Perfect Cell and the Marvel franchise’s Ultron.

In the MCU, Ultron nearly defeated the Avengers and destroyed the world with a robotic army of drones and a giant Sokovian-sized asteroid. As powerful as that seems, this is actually one of the weaker versions of Ultron. That’s right from the various comic and video game appearances of Ultron, he has achieved truly unbelievable levels of power. If we’re talking about a Golden form which allowed him to obliterate the entire Marvel Universe, to the version from Marvel V. Capcom: Infinite which could utilize the Infinity Stones and the Ultron who conquered the Phalanx in Annihilation: Conquest, he really lives up to the hype as the scariest synthetic in the Marvel universe.

That brings us to DBZ’s Perfect Cell who has been in a fierce competition with Frieza for the role of best villain in the franchise for decades. There’s a good reason for that too, seeing as Cell possesses most of the best powers the franchise has to offer.

So let’s find out who is going to win between Perfect Cell and Ultron once and for all.
