With the Falcon and the Winter Soldier coming out, Black Panther 2 and the Wakanda TV series in development thanks to director Ryan Coogler, it’s only a matter of time before we see the heroes carrying the torch of these two legendary Marvel Characters.
That got us reminiscing, which brought us across a fan theory connecting both the Heart Shaped Herb and Dr Abraham Erskine’s Super Soldier Serum. This theory suggests that the serums were based off of the herb from Wakanda, inadvertently connecting T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) to Steve Rogers’ (Chris Evans) origins. Could the red, white and blue’s powers of Super Strength, Stamina and Agility be derived from Black Panther?
There are connections within the war of the time and Africa, meaning one of T’Challa’s ancestors being encountered isn’t off the cards!
We dive in even deeper than the original fan theory, looking at how Herb could’ve canonically influenced the serum, the implications this theory would have on the MCU, what will happen now after Killmonger supposedly destroyed all the Herbs, and even connections to radiation theory!
We find out that Vibranium might even be radioactive!
With characters like Taskmaster, Thadeus Ross (potentially Red Hulk) and even more on their way after the release of Black Widow, the Super Soldier Serum is likely to play a part.
