Well folks, the grudge match that we’ve been waiting YEARS to see play out in live action is almost here! No, I’m not talking about Scorpion vs. Sub-Zero. Mortal Kombat is still about a month away. No, I’m talking about Godzilla Vs. Kong, the big crossover Monsterverse film that has been teased ever since the first Godzilla dropped in 2014. After seven years of waiting, King Kong and Godzilla are FINALLY going to settle their centuries-long score concerning who the real King of the Monsters really is. I don’t think that’s going to be all though. In fact, I think the grudge match is just a tease for the big final battle to come.

You see, in Godzilla movies it is common for giant mechanized versions of the popular monsters to show up and fight their counterparts. Eagle eyed fans have already found clues that make it seem like Mecha-Godzilla will make his big debut. If this were a normal Godzilla film, that would seem like quite the challenge. Unfortunately, Mecha-Godzilla will have to go up against Godzilla and Kong, which is a heavy order for any giant robot monster. Luckily, I don’t think he’ll be alone.

The second Godzilla teased a possible return for Godzilla’s archnemesis, King Ghidorah. I think that Mecha-Ghidorah will make a surprise appearance in the end of the film to back up Mecha-Godzilla and take on the two protagonists. Will both of them make it out alive? Let’s find out together.
