So who doesn’t love our dear sweet Uncle Iroh? Former General in the Fire NAtion’s army. This Heir to the throne ended up losing his crown to his younger brother through some rough circumstances. Not to mention losing his only son in the process. He’s had a tough life. But in that life he’s learned some real valuable lessons that he can pass on to the new generation. Namely, his nephew, Zuko. Through many of Iroh’s teachings, Zuko did lead the Fire Nation into a new era, leading through love and kindness, trying to repair the damage done by the 100 year war. No easy task. But all this wisdom Zuko gained certainly helped lighten the load. So what exactly did he learn? Well, that's what we are here to share. Sometimes we all need a little guidance. Maybe straightforward, maybe woven in riddles, or maybe on the rare occasion we need just a bit of comfort. Iroh is there for us. Well we’d like him to be. We can dream. So let’s dive into some of the best bits of wisdom that Iroh shared with his nephew, whether that advice was taken right away or not. Sometimes it needs a few months to sink in. From early on in their quest to capture the Avatar, to the end where Zuko carved his own destiny. Zuko found comfort and strength in his uncle. And that’s all we can ask for.
