The Wolverine epic bullet train sequence features Logan battling several knife-wielding thugs as they speed through the Japanese countryside. This battle tests his physical, emotional, and mortal limits - in a life-changing voyage to modern-day Japan.

In this movie, Logan is lured to Japan in which he faces off against the shadowy realm of yakuza and samurai. He is confronted -- for the first time -- with the prospect of death. As he struggles to rediscover the hero within himself, he must grapple with powerful foes and the ghosts of his own haunted past.

This movie's timeline is set following the events of X-Men: The Last Stand, and preceding the events of X-Men: Days of Future Past!
