Venom Will Trick Carnage By Using Spider-Man

The trailer recently dropped for Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage, and we’re excited to finally have more Eddie Brock/Venom odd couple shenanigans back in our lives. The first movie was a surprise hit and laid the foundation for the future Sonyverse so a lot is riding on the Venom sequel. But by the looks of it, they’re pulling out all the stops by introducing Venom’s biggest villain, Cletus Kasady, aka Carnage. Played by Woody Harrelson, Kasady looks like he’s going to pose a major threat to both Eddie and Venom when he transforms into the titular Supervillain. Can Venom take down this new baddie on his own? I actually don’t think so, and that’s where Spider-Man comes into play.

There’s been rumors of a Peter Parker appearance in Venom 2 ever since the movie was first announced and I think it’s the perfect time to bring the webhead in. With all the multiverse shenanigans happening recently, there’s no reason why this universe’s version of Peter Parker can’t show up to help fight this new threat. It would make sense. The trailer revealed that the Daily Bugle is following the Kasady case so why wouldn’t they send out a reporter and photographer to cover his execution? That would mean Peter Parker and Eddie Brock would be close to each other and when Carnage starts causing Carnage, the two of them could team up to take him on.
