Ultron called it the most versatile substance on the planet, and boy is that one honest robot. Vibranium has a long history in the MCU and in the Marvel comics, originating centuries ago in the form of a meteorite crashing down in the African nation of Wakanda. Since then, this special metal has proven to have nearly every conceivable power that one can think up. Everyone knows that Wakandans have weaved it into their clothing, and used it for weapons and technology. Under the oversight of the smartest character in the MCU, Shuri, the nation of Wakanda has made serious technological advancements that far outpace the world around them. This was all thanks to the incredible metal that built their nation so long ago.
