This MCU movie is easily one of the most anticipated movies in Phase 4. It not only is going to continue the insane, jaw-dropping cliffhanger that we saw in Far From Home as Peter Parker deals with Mysterio’s bombshell of revealing his identity and framing Peter for murder, but also it’s going to open up the idea of the multiverse. How exciting!
But amidst all the rumors and tiny tidbits of behind-the-scenes photos, there’s still so much we don’t know about this movie. For starters, what does this movie title actually refer to? It’s easy to assume that the title refers to Peter getting lost in the multiverse after traveling with Doctor Strange and not being able to find his way back to his reality, but could it have another meaning? Well, that’s what we’re here today to discuss.
Could the title actually refer to the movie’s main villains? It’s possible! If rumors are to be believed, it’s said that this movie actually is in reference to the movie’s bad guys as they’ll be a ragtag crew of returning Spidey villains from past franchises, including Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, Jaime Foxx’s Electro, and Willem Dafoe’s Norman Osborn, plucked from their universes and thrown the far reaches of the multiverse, unable to get home and causing a lot of collateral damage in their way. That sounds pretty exciting, right? If that’s the case, then Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is definitely going to need some help. That’s where he can call in other Spider-Men like Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield in one of the best team-ups of all time! I’d be down for that, wouldn’t you?
So check out today’s video all about the MCU’s third web crawler and let us know afterward in the comments what you want to see from this movie! Does this theory make sense? Who knows!
