15 Villains Gorr the God Butcher Should Team Up With Next

Thor: Love and Thunder is finally here and it’s delivered us a fantastic new villain in Gorr. Now, I think there’s a fair criticism in that Gorr doesn’t get enough development or screen time, but I don’t think anyone is knocking Christian Bale’s unsurprisingly committed performance as the God Butcher. In a movie as silly and bright as Love and Thunder, it’s actually pretty cool to see Bale playing it almost completely straight, giving a sinister and slightly tragic edge to Gorr as he enacts his plan to slaughter all the gods.

And there will be spoilers for Thor: Love and Thunder here, but I don’t think I’d be ruining anything by saying that Gorr doesn’t win in the end. In fact, he probably won’t be in any other project which is a real shame because Bale is almost too good in the role. With that in mind, what if we play a little bit of pretend and say Gorr didn’t die at the end of the movie? What if he not only survived, but wanted to continue his evil quest across multiple movies. Would he continue going solo or could we imagine him teaming up with other MCU villains? I love the idea of villains teaming up because it’s just fun to see their personalities butt heads so that’s why I made this whole video today about Gorr teaming up with other villains down the line.
