15 MCU Villains Who Have A Higher IQ In The Comics

Knowledge is power! And that’s never more accurate than when discussing super villains. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has done a great job of keeping most characters true to their comic book roots, however, some characteristics like powers, skills and intelligence often get altered or dampened along the way. Some of the most brilliant minds in history come from Marvel’s Multiverse, both heroic and nefarious alike. Focusing in on the latter, what about the villains that we have met in the MCU whose intellect registers at a lower level than their comic book counterparts? Not to be rude, but oftentimes these otherwise intelligible baddies get used as comedic canon fodder. In other cases, we just simply haven’t seen enough of the character to assess their intelligence properly. And we can’t forget about the villains who have a wealth of knowledge in other fields that have yet to be explored in the movies. Analyzing the MCU from all the way back in the Infinity Saga, as well as studying the upcoming Phases Five and Six, we have compiled a list of 15 MCU villains who have a higher IQ in the comics.
