Blue Beetle Unleashed: Powers and Abilities Explained

Blue Beetle has been a staple of DC Comics since 1939, and has had a few characters take on the name and mantle. Whether it be Dan Garrett, Ted Kord, or Jaime Reyes, in this video, we will dive into the fascinating world of the Blue Beetle Scarab, armor, technomorphy, and other abilities. Donning a suit made of alien technology left behind on Earth, the Blue Beetle Scarab even bonded symbiotically to Jaime Reyes, giving him a series of unique powers.

The Blue Beetle Scarab is also called Khaji Da, an artificial intelligence device that can sometimes take on a mind of its own. Khaji Da has given powers to a variety of different people from different backgrounds. For instance, Dan Garrett was an archaeologist, Ted Kord was a super spy, and Jaime Reyes is an average teenager. Regardless of who’s using the Blue Beetle name, he is always presented as a powerful character capable of fighting alongside or against the Teen Titans, Green Lantern Corps., and the Justice League.

With the Blue Beetle movie on its way, it’s unclear if it belongs to the defunct DCEU, or James Gunn’s newly lamented DCU.
