Flourless Onion Bread 🧅🍞 (Gluten-Free & Easy!)
Soft, savory, and naturally flourless — this homemade onion bread is made with simple ingredients and comes out moist, fluffy, and packed with flavor. Perfect for breakfast, soup, or as a healthy snack!
Loaf Pan Size: 7.5 x 4.7 inches (19 x 12 cm)
Pan Height: 2.75 inches (7 cm)
Ingredients:
1 cup millet (300 g), rinsed
2/3 cup plain drinkable yogurt or kefir (150 ml)
3 large eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions:
Rinse the millet well and prepare according to your preferred method if needed.
Add millet, yogurt (or kefir), eggs, salt, and baking powder to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
Stir in the chopped onion and vegetable oil.
Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined loaf pan.
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 50 minutes.
Oven setting: top & bottom heat, no fan (no convection). Place the pan slightly below the center rack.
Let cool before slicing. Enjoy warm or toasted!
