Without any developer work, the Xbox Series X still boasts some impressive improvements and load times for your current Xbox One library of games. So we tested nine games to see how long it takes for you to go from the main menu to fully in-game.
The games tested are Doom Eternal, Red Dead Redemption 2, Fallout 4, No Man's Sky (before Next-Generation Update), Final Fantasy 15, Gears 5 (with Series X optimizations), Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, The Outer Worlds, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
