My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission is out in theaters, and while these films are typically considered non-canon to the anime series, this particular outing is slightly different. In fact, the movie’s main villain was teased in an episode of the #MyHeroAcademia #Anime. The post credit scene in My Hero Academia season 5 episode 16 revealed Flect Turn, who is the leader of the villainous organization, Humarise, seen in World Heroes’ Mission. So we know when My Hero Academia World Heroes’ Mission takes place, but any activities that happen within the movie will not affect the overall canon of the anime or manga. Although the MHA movie 3 is a stand-alone story, It’s interesting seeing allusions in an episode of the My Hero Academia anime series. In other news, Disney Plus is working on a National Treasure series not starring or featuring Nicolas Cage in any way. According to Deadline, the upcoming series will star actor Lisette Alexis as Jess Morales. And finally, Netflix dropped the latest trailer for The Witcher season 2.
