"KARMA: The Dark World" is a first-person cinematic psychological thriller set in a dystopian world dominated by the omnipresent Leviathan Corporation. The game is set in 1984 East Germany, where players navigate an alternate timeline filled with mass surveillance, social class rules, and mind-altering drugs. As players delve deeper, they uncover that things are not quite what they seem, leading to a gripping narrative filled with intrigue and suspense. The game emphasizes exploration, allowing players to interact with a richly detailed environment that reflects the oppressive regime of the Leviathan Corporation. Players will encounter various challenges that test their problem-solving skills and unravel the dark secrets of this alternate reality. The atmospheric design, combined with a compelling storyline, immerses players in a world where every decision can have profound consequences. Developed by POLLARD STUDIO LLC and published by Wired Productions and Gamera Games, the game is currently available for wishlisting on Steam. A demo version was released on October 14, 2024, receiving very positive reviews from players. The full release date is yet to be announced.
