Battlefield 6 is set to launch on October 10th, bringing back the franchise's iconic all-out warfare with a vengeance. After the controversial departure from the class system in Battlefield 2042, DICE is course-correcting by reintroducing the classic Assault, Recon, Support, and Engineer roles. The game promises a new level of immersion with enhanced environmental destruction and a "Kinesthetic Combat System" for more fluid movement and gunplay. Players will be able to get their hands on the action early with open beta weekends scheduled for August. With a single-player campaign set in 2027 and a robust multiplayer suite, Battlefield 6 is poised to be a return to form for the beloved franchise.
