High Tech Corvette

Here we go again with the Mustangs, it's actually been a while. Once again Coffee and Cars was like a big party, I love it.

We were at a no prep race and got to see this thing make a few passes. I'm not sure I would want to have anything to do with driving this, looks like an ambulance ride to me.

Here's a few clips from the 24 Hours of Lemons race in Houston. This is the race we are building a 1996 Camaro for, it looks like a blast.

No police showed up for traffic control at Coffee and Cars, so people really took advantage of it. Needless to say it was a great time and no one crashed.

There were no police at Coffee and Cars today and it was wonderful. No one crashed, no one got hurt, everyone had a blast, what a great day!

This race is nuts, I'm shocked nobody crashed. It is great getting to see a race on a real street and not always on a prepped track.

So we got to go drive the new ZR1 for a few laps around Spring Mountain. It sure was fun to drive, made me feel like I knew what I was doing.

I got to ride along with an instructor at Spring Mountain Raceway in a 2019 ZR1 and do a few hot laps. The new ZR1 really is pretty incredible.

Here's the recap of the DigNight top end race at Houston Raceway Park. The starting line was at the 1/8 mile mark and they raced to the normal finish line.

We can't wait to see this car in action again soon. The car is built by ProSpeed in Houston.

Did anyone else notice the dude pouring gas on a fire??? WTF? These were the motorcycle stunt riders at the Paul Walker Memorial Meet 2.0 How do you think these guys did?

Alright, here is another round of Coffee and Cars. September 1, 2018 It was a great day, a lot of different cars were out this month.

So today after Coffee and Cars we got invited to go check out some RC boats. This boat really caught our attention with the 2 giant TP motors and all the 6s lipo batteries.

The police were really cracking down at this month's Coffee and Cars. I don't think I've ever seen that many people pulled over before.

Damn, I wan't expecting that!! It sure looks like a handful to drive though. That's pretty impressive seeing a rotary powered RX7 running a 7 second pass.

Damn these cars are getting faster and faster. Pretty much everyone is on 6s or 8s, I showed more of the cars in the video so people can see what's in them.

You definitely don't see something like this very often. It's pretty cool to see an older 300zx running low 10's, especially one that's a manual. That black Porsche in the video is a monster as well.

Once again there were a lot of bad ass cars running at Quick 30. If the weather was a little cooler then a few records would have been broken.

Dodge Demon who? Never heard of her... Talk about consistent, 3 passes: 9.14, 9.10, 9.12 Pretty bad ass for a big 4 door car.

This was the first round of racing and then the rain came and ruined everything.

I bet the Dodge boys won't like this! Well at least we finally got a chance to see a Z06 racing a boat and it turned out pretty much the way we would expect it to.

There were some fast cars at this month's race. Our yellow Vette finally got beat in the 6s class.
