The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 takes place in the Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC) in Valletta, Malta on Sunday, 20 November 2016. A total of 17 countries are participating:
Albania, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, FYRO Macedonia, Georgia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malta, Poland, Russia, Serbia, The Netherlands and Ukraine.
The Delegations and many International Media are in Valletta, Malta to enjoy the biggest annual European music event for children. From the official welcoming ceremony onwards, everyone is focussed on not only delivering a good individual performance, but also to promoting the values in this year’s Junior Eurovision logo #Embrace.
When they aren’t busy rehearsing, the youngsters have had the opportunity to discover some of the sites and get to know some of the people from historic Malta.
Radio International is on hand to interview some of the young performers.
Many of the previous performers of the Junior Eurovision are returning to shoe their support to the contest and the young singers as well as promoting their new material. So it is also for Vincenzo Cantiello who won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 for Italy in the Malta with the song "Tu primo grande amore". He has his latest album on release called "Never too much" as well from that the new single entitled "Summer Thrill".
In this clip see the interview with Vincenzo Cantiello and his manager Antonio Dinuzzi from SKE! Entertainment (www.skeentertainment.com), Italy chatting with David and JP from Radio International.
