French singer Jain likes music with a deep rhythmic bottom. Growing up she spent four years in Congo, and as a young adult, studied drums in the Pyrénées Arabic percussion instruments in the Middle East. She connected with producer Mr. Flash and began formalizing her ideas into dance tracks. Her 2015 debut ‘Zanaka’ contained “Come,” which became a smash. Femi Kuti remixed it and it was featured on the television show, ‘Santa Clarita Diet.’ Her latest video, “Makeba,” is nod to South African vocal icon, Miriam Makeba. In her ‘Vevo Meets’ interview she discussed her love of Belgian artist René Magritte, making beats with the Fruity Loops software, and wanting to be a graphic artist.
