Dear Tyler Farr
Missouri-born Tyler Farr has as boomin' baritone voice that really knows how to put its scratchy side to good use, and when he applies it to twang-driven songs like "Hot Mess" and "A Guy Walks Into a Bar," you can feel the passion pouring out. Maybe that's because he had some classical vocal training early on, or maybe it's because the country hit-maker, who keeps the charts poppin' with smashes such as "Redneck Crazy" and "Whiskey In My Water," really takes a lyric to heart when he cuts a song. It's been a couple years since his 'Suffer In Peace' album, and to celebrate the arrival of his new track "I Should Got To Church Sometime," we connected with him at CMA Festival in Nashville for a little fun. The guy who once did an interview show with questions asked by kids agreed to dispense all sorts of practical wisdom in our new various-artists advice series. 'Dear Tyler Farr' finds him helping fans with problems like curing a hangover, accidentally shooting a pal's tire on a hunting trip, and telling your dad you're ditching college for a music career. He doesn't hold back on any of the answers. See what he has to say in 'Dear Tyler Farr.'
