It's not unusual to meet a life-long bestie in college. That's def what happened to the women of OSHUN. Thandi and Niambi connected during orientation at New York University, and soon enough they were making very impressive music together. They named themselves after a West African diety of "sweet waters," and their woke lyrics and soulful grooves are all about nudging elements of neo-soul and hip-hop into a singular spot. You've probably heard their "Sango" - pretty much irresistible. They've both graduated of late (and have a song to celebrate the achievement), and their 'bittersweet vol. 1' just dropped at the top of April. The music is all about "articulating a lot of the experiences we went through," they say in our exclusive interview. Here's a chance to learn more about them.
