Direct Current was an underground American dance music group made up of sisters, Deborah, Dorothy, & Denise Clement. The album, ‘Sweet Release’ was essentially a 1994 reissue of their self titled debut album from 1979 that was produced by Doug King and Nick Martinelli. From that record, ‘Everybody Here Must Party’ was the track that garnered the most popularity. It was penned exclusively by the three sisters and featured the Philadelphia Orchestra on the recording.
